Summary: By purchasing a ChainPay Pro or Enterprise license, you receive the right to use the software on one WordPress installation. You own your wallet keys — we never hold your funds. This agreement governs that relationship.
Subject to your payment of all applicable fees and compliance with this Agreement, ChainPay ("Company", "we", "us") grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to:
The Free plan is provided at no cost and grants access to Bitcoin (BTC) and Litecoin (LTC) only, with a 1.0% platform fee and a limit of 50 orders per month.
The Pro license unlocks all 14 supported cryptocurrencies, reduces the platform fee to 0.25%, removes order limits, and enables advanced features including webhook IPN, smart coin routing, and full API access.
You may not:
Pro and Enterprise licenses require activation via a license key entered in the WooCommerce plugin settings. The plugin communicates with ChainPay's licensing server to verify your key. License keys are tied to your registered domain. Activating a key on a different domain requires deactivating from the current domain first.
If ChainPay's licensing server is unreachable, the plugin will use the last cached verification result for up to 7 days before reverting to Free tier features. No data loss occurs.
License fees are charged annually (or monthly, where available) in advance. Fees are non-refundable except as described in Section 9.
In addition to the license fee, ChainPay charges a platform fee on each transaction processed through the plugin: 1.0% on the Free plan, 0.25% on Pro. This fee is automatically deducted from the routing layer or invoiced monthly for Enterprise accounts.
Blockchain network fees (gas, miner fees) are separate and paid by the end customer sending the payment. ChainPay has no control over network fees.
An active Pro or Enterprise license includes access to all software updates released during the license period. Updates are delivered via the WordPress plugin updater. After your license expires, you retain the last downloaded version but will not receive further updates.
Pro licensees receive email support with a response target of 24 hours on business days. Enterprise licensees receive dedicated support and SLA as specified in their Enterprise agreement.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. CHAINPAY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.
Importantly: ChainPay is a non-custodial payment gateway. We do not hold, control, or have access to your funds or private keys at any time. All payments go directly from your customers to your wallet addresses derived from your xPub key. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your private keys and seed phrase.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CHAINPAY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF CRYPTOCURRENCY, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.
ChainPay's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
This license is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you fail to comply with any term. Upon termination, you must cease using the Software and delete all copies. The plugin will revert to Free tier functionality when a license expires or is revoked.
ChainPay reserves the right to terminate licenses used in violation of these terms, including (but not limited to) unauthorized distribution of license keys or use to facilitate illegal activities.
ChainPay offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on all Pro annual licenses. If you are not satisfied for any reason, contact support@chainpay.store within 30 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.
Monthly plans may be cancelled at any time; refunds are not issued for the current billing period. Enterprise contracts follow the refund terms in the separate Enterprise agreement.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ChainPay is incorporated. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved informally, and if unresolved, shall be submitted to binding arbitration.
